    How to Calculate a Business Budget

    1. Calculate your revenue
    2. Add up your fixed costs
    3. Determine variable costs
    4. Subtract your fixed and variable costs

    No matter how well prepared you are there will always be an unexpected expense. So its best to set aside a just-in-case fund.

    Now to create your profit and loss statement add up all your income and all your expenses for the month. Subtract the expenses from the income. Ideally, the resulting number will be positive, signaling a profit, and not negative, indicating a loss.

    To simplify things, use templates to not start from scratch.

    Quick first replies can result in higher customer satisfaction , even if you can’t solve the issue immediately. A quick reply can be a short message letting the customer know you received their question or an estimate for how long it will take to solve their problem. Customers are more willing to wait if they know you’re actively working towards a solution.

    Personalize

    Customers feel frustrated when they have to explain an issue over and over; and exhausting, repetitive interactions make customers more likely to leave. Equip employees with the tools to pull customer information, view the conversation history, and streamline conversations.

    Encourage loyalty

    Reward customers who are loyal to your company by showing you appreciate their business  to have them coming back.
